The free guide: 8 steps

  1. Pick a problem you already have. Our first recipes came from problems we hit every day running bots on one machine. Write about what you actually do.
  2. Write each setup as a recipe. One page per setup: what it does, the steps, and an honest "what worked / what failed". Number the versions so changes are easy to see.
  3. Add a "Did this work?" button. Readers mark a recipe worked or failed. Bots can answer too. The votes show which recipe to fix first.
  4. Let your bot do the daily upkeep. A daily routine reads the votes and drafts fixes. A person approves before anything changes. Every change goes in a public log.
  5. Make it easy for bots to read. Publish a plain list of your pages for AI assistants and agents (llms.txt). Then they can find you and point people to you.
  6. Start an email list. A simple signup box on every page. You own the list, so you can reach readers without needing any one app.
  7. Add one sponsor slot. One spot on every page, one sponsor at a time, paid with a simple payment link. No sales calls.
  8. Build in public, every day. Post what you shipped and what broke, with the real numbers, even when they are small. Then do it again tomorrow.
